Our group recently participated in the 28th International Conference on Fracture and Structural Integrity (IGF28–MedFract3) in Catania, Italy organized by IGF Gruppo Italiano Frattura.
- Arash Kardani presented his work on “Toward an Understanding of How Plastic Deformation Can Enhance Solid-state Bonding Strength.”
- Ramin Yousefi-Nooraie presented his study on “A Voronoi-inspired Microstructure Model to Simulate Cohesion Strength in Cold Spray Deposits.”, in a thematic symposium on Structural Integrity of Solid-State Welded & Additively Manufactured Metals organized by Prof. Sara Bagherifard and Prof. Enrico Salvati.
It was a wonderful experience to engage with colleagues from around the world, exchange ideas, and highlight the ongoing progress of our research.
